mac or pc

Considering a purchase and have two platforms Mac or PC. Preferred is the mac but I notice that the versions are wildly different as is the frequency of update/releases (latest mac version June 2012, pc September 2013) , is there a difference in performance, features etc?

Helicon Focus 6 beta is available for both platforms and release will be published in several days. The functionality and performance almost identical. Please note that the license allows you to install and use both Mac and Windows versions.

This is good news as I was considering the same question!
Have both mac and pc in work environment but in different locations!

So If I purchase license, the same one will unlock both pc and mac?

You can use the software on 4 computers you are working on, but only one copy of the program can be used at the same time. You can use the same license for Mac and Windows computers in any proportion.
