In retouching, help select the sharpest source file

Post by D600vince »

Hi,

When retouching an area, it's a chore to scan through all the source files to select the sharpest one of the area to retouch. It would really speed up things and hence improve our productivity and hence final quality, if by clicking with a context menu item, helicon focus would directly jump the source file to the sharpest one of the area underneath the cursor.

Thanks

If you press F9 in retouching mode, the program will load the sharpest source image for the area under mouse pointer. Please check if this works for you.

You need to tell the program what area you are interested in. So retouching and F9 is the only way to jump to the best layer.
