Sorry-- I posted this in the Helicon Filter forum by mistake...
I am testing helicon focus with my newly acquired Canon 1DS MKIII. I am involved in a very intense macro photography project and the ability to do focus stacking is critical.
I tried a test stack of jpg images and it seemed to work fine. But when I did the same test with RAW files, the program said it could not recognize those files.
What do I need to do to have it work with these raw files?
Thanks,
Kenny Frank
Canon 1DS MkIII Raw Files
Kenny,
We have two RAW converters in the program. Internal converter use Canon SDK to convert RAW files. So we should wait till Canon adds support for these files.
You can also use alternative DCRAW converter. We always include the most recent version into our installation. But you can update it manually if you find newer version.
Anyway, we are now preparing newer version which will have all the newest version for RAW support.
