Autolevel, Auto Smart Fix equivalent in Helicon Filter

Unread postby John Lai » 10.12.2006 19:22

While I agree that manual controls give better results in post editing, automatic operations like Autolevels or Auto Smart Fix (Photoshop Elements) give decent results when we have a lot of files to process. Is there any such settings in HF that give the same results?

Also I'm Feeling Lucky in Picasa.

In the Brightness tab, in Expert preview mode (hat button near the reset button), there is an Auto contrast check box.

Yep, this should be added. But I personally do not trust to autoenchacers. What if 1 from ten images will be destroyed ? I do not want to loose this image.

I would manually edit this "stubborn" file. It is understood that auto enhance will have the option of saving the edited file under a new name.

If you don't like an effect from an automatic change, why not just undo it? What's this about loosing a file?
