shell; selective sharpness

Unread postby peteschick » 11.03.2009 19:53

f8 this time, 33 pictures in stack, method B, radius 8, smoothing 4
Please help, someone.
I've tried different apertures.
I'm using remote live view shooting from my computer screen, with precise focusing increments.
I'm using a new macro lens (Canon 100mm/2.8).
I wish I knew what I am doing wrong. I want it ALL sharp.
Is it possible?

Peter,

The latest version (4.75) has new control in the Preferences - Depth map feathering. If you set the value to 0, only the sharpest parts of the source images will be used for the resulting image. But be prepare to retouch seam that may become more noticable.
