Can helicon filter save a file in raw format (especially, CR2) after doing noise reduction?

No program is able to save in RAW format as I know. And this does not make sense as you already merged 4 pixel channels of the matrix to RGB for processing.

That explains why I was hard to find one. It's time to quit. :)
Thanks.

Adobe has a RAW-like DNG format, but I'm not sure if Helicon can save to this format (I'd need to check -- if not, that'd be a nice feature, Dan). You can always save to TIFF or PNG. TIFF supports 8 and 16 bit color and is popular for saving photos without compression. PNG uses losses compression, so I prefer it to TIFF, but its more of a graphics format and less of a photo format.

As I understand, Adobe RAW can convert custom RAW format to more universal DNG. But this converstion omits convertion to RGB. I think, Adobe just creates new header with metadata without changing the actual values of the pixels.

Once you converted your RAW file to RGB and edited it, there is no sence to make other conversion. Just save it in lossless format (TIFF, PNG) if you want to archive the image.
