No 30 day trial period and no multiprecessor trial

Unread postby ianspector » 16.03.2008 17:45

I downloaded 4,45 on Friday night and created my first image based on 48 slices. The image had no trial watermark. I could not, however, select multi-processor support as this option does not appear on the preferences. The following day the software started putting the spoiler text on every image I produced and giving me a message about its being trial software.

I am using this on an 8 core 8Gb PC running Vista 64 bit and I would like to try the mutiprocessor version before spending $300. Also I thought I had 30 days before the spoiler text, not 12 hours.

Very impressive software so far. Thankyou

Ian

Hello Ian,

it might be best to email the customer service or to post your question in the Helicon Focus board - not here.

Multiprocessor mode is activated automatically if your system has multiple processors.

Please contact our support (support@heliconfocus.com) and we will give you a temporary key for thorough testing.

I would be interested to hear about your test on 8 core machine as well.
