I always drag / drop the images on the canvas of the app.

Mac OS X 10.9.1. This happened on earlier versions too.
I add the two files by dragging / dropping them on to Helicon Focus' canvas area. I click Restore defaults then render. Once done I click the Saving tab then Save...
I get the file name Untitled as per attached.

Export TIFF filename defaults to Untitled
The recent 3 or 4 builds of Helicon Focus 6 seems to have an issue when you try to export a stack to TIFF. It used to base the target file name on the source file names with the method and radius / smoothing encoded in the file name like so: 2013-12-22_10-10-52 M=B R=8 S=4.tif but I get 99% of the t...
