Brian,

No, it is not possible to export individual stack images.
In Windows version it is possible to use Save web animation to export aligned images.

We plan to release new mac vesion with retouching brushesd in about a month.

Yes, there is a limit. Helicon Focus is a 32 bit application and cannot use more then 2Gb of RAM ( or 3G after some tuning).

We tested the program on 80Mp images which are 240Mb large in 8bit quality and 480Mb if saved to 16 bit tiff.

Most probably you will be able to process images of larger size.

Sorry for the delay, Steve. I've checked your stack on windows version and cannot find problems with it. I've compared composite with each source layer and was not able to find artifacts you mentioned. I have to check it on Mac version to be sure.

It is hard to tell without knowing resolution, number of images, processor speed and RAM available. Check that "Force memory saving mode" in the Preferences of Helicon Focus is not set.

Access denied error can appear if the file is busy (opened by some other process). I would suggest you to restart windows and run installer again. HeliconFocus.exe in your download files is most probably installer, 30Mb big. It was not very good idea to give the installer and the program the same na...

Thanks for the stack. I've played with it and do not see the problem. The program uses all layers to combine final result.

I can see problem with brightness adjustment and this bug is already fixed.

I will check, maybe the bug appear only on Mac.

As I know there is quite complicated system of file associations which are stored in Registry. I would open regedit.exe and find all ".tif" entries. Or "Creativity_E Application". This is low level solution but I do not know better method.

Do you mean Helicon Focus or Helicon Filter?
Helicon Focus does not assign file associations.
Helicon Filter does but you can change these settings in the Preferences/File Associations of the Helicon Filter.

Current settings can be saved as hfs file and loaded later to apply to different file or folder.

Filter can be applied to the current folder only.

Joyce, This can happen if you process RAW files and the program is not able to open files correctly. It uses embedded low resolution thumbnails instead. If this is the reason please convert your RAW files to tiff or jpeg before processing. In the recent 4.50 version we added new Adobe RAW converter ...

There is no way to edit queue with external editor. I think you can add all your folders with existing interface quite efficienlty. How many folders do you have?
