Re: No External Flash with Canon EOS 1000D and Helicon Remot
Jesper, Please give us some more time and logs to fix this. Our general observation is that top and mid range cameras are much more stable that low range cameras. This concerns both Nikon and Canon. Low range cameras often miss some properties or have not enough performance. But in most cases this c...

Re: StackShot
Thanks for suggestion, the only downside of auto process is that Helicon Focus will load all processors to their limits in the background and Helicon Remote will be sluggish. We already implemented test version of Helicon Remote that can control StackShot even if camera is not connected. We will sen...

Re: Stepper drivers
Hmm... I looks too complicated. We would like to use ready components that only need to be wired correctly.

Re: Stepper drivers
Thanks for the link. Looks like a good option. The only thing that I was not able to find is how to connect this to computer? Finally it should be USB connection, RS232 is not available on modern computers and Macs. Right now we are using USB-RS232 converter to the motor driver.

Thanks for report! So, setting PTP mode is essential to make it work?
We are going to publish this new 2.0.15 version today, several beta testers reported that problems with D7000 had gone too.

Re: Focus stack no retouch and retouch "automatic" mode
Great, I would suggest to experiment with larger Radius value, this should minimize the halo.
