Re: 3D viewer suggestions
3d model can be exported to obj format which can be read by many advanced 3d software. Maybe you will find solution using this path.

Re: file location after a 'save'
Sorry, I have no idea why LR doesn't see the file that, as you said, is indeed there. Doesn't sound like the problem is on our end.

Re: lag time with helicon remote
5 seconds sounds about right, very little can be done at this point to shorten this delay. 4 seconds may be feasible, but that's it. There's no single big delay, it's a chain of a large number of small delays that add up together. That's how remote control works, it's just not optimized for speed. Y...

Re: Cant open Z-7 Raw files
You need to install new Adobe DNG Converter: http://www.heliconsoft.com/adobedng/
and setup the path to DNG Converter in Helicon Focus menu "Edit / Preferences... / Integration". In the RAW development settings under Source image list select RAW-in-DNG-out loader codec.

No, Helicon Focus cannot be used for such purpose. Search for a technology called photometry, you will probably find some suitable software.

Re: Nikon D5500 ios take picture shows wrong image preview
That's why we're puzzled by this as well since it doesn't happen on any of our iOS devices. We don't have iPad Air, though, and while I don't think the issue is strictly tied to the device model, we can't dismiss the possibility. We'll see if we can find one for testing.

Yes, you do need to reconfigure the tube after you change aperture (or focal length, since both of these affect DOF).

Re: 5d3 to iPhone 6s+
Hello, USB connection is not possible on iOS, only Wi-Fi (we even say this in the very first line of the app's description). This means that the only way you can use 5D Mark III with the iOS version of Helicon Remote is Canon WFT-E7A adapter.
But USB works on Windows, Mac and Android.

Re: helicon focus Nikon D500
You can shoot in Live View mode, but you do not have to. However, current focus position will only be updated when you release the shutter button, Live View will not display advancement of focus in real time mode. As for using flash, when shooting with the tube you control shooting manually, i.e. yo...

Re: Bugs using 5DIV and Galaxy S9?
How exactly are you trying to navigate the zoomed-in image? Perhaps, you're doing something that's not clearly recognized as the gesture you intended. Put your finger on the screen and move in the direction you want to drag the image. If you put the finger on the screen and keep it still for too lon...

Re: Stacking anomoly
We try to comment on user stacks but we just do not get them sometimes. There are several reasons for bad results, some of them could be fixed, some not. For example, some artifacts are caused by misalignment of source images. Enabling rotation or chaning other alignment params could help. There are...

Re: Nikon D5500 ios take picture shows wrong image preview
Every shot you take in Helicon Remote is pulled to your iOS device and saved in its media library. Can you check whether or not these images are correct? The fastest way is to use the app's built-in photo browser (Tools -> Photo browser).

Re: Bugs using 5DIV and Galaxy S9?
1. That's not normal. There was such an issue in the past, but we've fixed it long ago. Make sure you're running Helicon Remote version 3.9.7 (menu -> About). 2. The app does work in background, or at least does its best to stay alive and keep the camera alive as well. However, many Android apps use...
