First of all, I don't think you will need so many megapixels, but I don't think there is a limit. It may be very slow with large files, but you have a good comp.

Make sure the edge sensitivity is set to 0%, and use a higher brush hardness. In Helicon Filter, make sure that the intensity is set to 100%.

In the files tab, if you have the file tree open and click on an image to use the magnifying glass (which I think is not necessary in Helicon Focus anyway), and then you zoom to change the zoom of the magnifying glass, it also scrolls the file tree.

NEF is supported, but it might still be a good idea to convert the pictures to jpeg or tiff anyhow because of the large file sizes.

I see it! Try switching the order, downsizing them, and looking beyond the screen. That is generally a better way to view 3-d, if you can train your eyes such.

It seems that the print preview is incorrect or something is wrong. See the attached file.

And when entering the custom print size, it doesn't let you type a decimal point "." - you have to use the arrows.

My site? You mean Helicon Filter's site. Are you trying the fly picture? Anyway, nobody else has noticed this. Also, version 4.10 is right around the corner (I was given a beta test link). Maybe in that version you won't notice this unusual problem.

If the individual images are rotated (even slightly) differently from one another, you have to change the settings to allow Helicon Focus to fix the rotation when processing. You might also have to change how much you allow Helicon to zoom in on the images during stacking. If you are sure that they ...

Go to the preferences and change how much the program can try to align the images. And also try the smoothing and radius parameter sliders and see if that changes anything.
