Re: is the tube compatible with the studio photo with flash
Yes, it’s possible. We know from our customers that they use the tube with flash in studio for jewelry photography triggering shooting from timer remote control.

Re: e-GPU support?
We have not tested external GPUs, but we tested with GPU risers. It turned out that slow link between CPU and GPU make such cards almost useless. For example, Radeon RX 580 in PCIE slot reaches 400 mpixels/sec, while the same card on riser gives only 100 mpixels/sec. External cards should be even sl...

Re: Bugs using 5DIV and Galaxy S9?
This is because the app lacks information necessary to calculate the DOF (either aperture value or focal length value). This isn't really a problem, you can start shooting and the values should fill in after the first shot is taken. Or, you can open the DOF calculator and press the "refresh&quo...

Re: WiFi Connection with Nikon D850
Very hard to say without seeing what you're doing. It should basically be the same as with QDSLRDashboard. Try connecting iOS to the camera first, and only then starting Helicon Remote.

Re: Black picture as result
It's very hard for us to give advice on this because the problem is in the camera body settings, not in our software. Check your exposure settings, switch the camera to M exposure mode. Helicon Remote does not alter your images, so it can't turn them black either.

Re: I must be doing something wrong - FB Tube problem?
Unfortunately, we don't have a video tutorial, but here are the set up recommendations: the lens AF switch should be set to AF position, focus range switch on the lens to FULL, camera drive mode should be set to Continuous and camera focusing mode to AF - One shot. Yes, the tube is compatible with o...

Re: Nikon D850 connection drops randomly
Try a short USB cable. If the connection is stable then, the problem is definitely with the cable.

Re: Focus Breathing
Focus breathing is not a problem, Helicon Focus is designed to handle it. You shouldn't notice any problem unless breathing is severe, in which case expanding the autoadjustment limits (Helicon Focus preferences -> Autoadjustments) may help. But you probably won't need to change anything to work wit...

Re: Dark fringe/halo
This is optical effect and stacking is not able to change this. We can only suggest to set smaller aperture to minimize this effect.

Re: Helicon FB Tube On iPhone7 With Canon 70D + Canon Macro 100mm F2.8 Lens
Does the led on the tube flash green at each shot? Please set the lens AF switch to AF position, camera drive mode to AF-one shot, set the focus range switch of the lens to Full. Just for the sake of experiment enter 100 in the Recommended step window of the configuration app (don't press Save), set...

Re: I must be doing something wrong - FB Tube problem?
As for landscape photography, Helicon FB Tube changes the properties of the optical system, bringing focusing points much closer. Here is the table with some figures that will give you the idea of the focusing range of some of the lenses when using an extension tube: https://www.heliconsoft.com/heli...

Re: D850 and V 3.9.7 (Android)
The previous version was 3.9.6, it has only minor differences with 3.9.7. Also, I doubt the app is to blame. What you're describing is typically caused either by a conflict with another camera-related app, or faulty USB cable / adapter / connectors. But here's a link to 3.9.6 APK file, you can certa...

Re: partial import from Lightroom
Based on our further communication via e-mail, I'm keen to think the problem is on Lightroom's end, not ours, since none of this happens during standalone Helicon Focus operation, and the plugin is not known to fail this way.

Re: Dark fringe/halo
Most likely, something in the way the source images are shot or aligned is triggerring this. We need to see the whole stack of source images to figure out what's going on, can you share them?
