We will check this ASAP and send you newer version to test. A bug report after a crash would help us too.

Re: remote
If you camera is freesing this is definitely a bug with the program. Nikon and Canon provide SDK for their cameras but it is not properly documented so making it actually work with all cameras is quite tricky. Please Report a bug from Helicon Remote\Help. The program will send us a log file which ma...

Re: 3D Video
Video on our site shows how to do this in the program. As to suggestions, there are only couple of simple rules: 1. The more shots you make, the more precise is 3D model. From our experience, you should have about 40-80 shots for a good smooth 3D model. This depends on the subject, of course. 2. The...

Re: How to fix this photo (problem edges)?
Most probably this blurred edge is the result of the movement of the flower or the camera. The program aligns the frames but some parts of the flower cannot be aligned because they moved. You can easily identify it if you quickly view all source images one after another. You will notice movement if ...

Re: ipad
We are digging in this direction. There are two major obstacles: a) on iOS we can only use low level interface to camers which is not documented, b) use of USB on iPod is tricky if allowed at all.

Re: Stepper drivers
Barry, Thanks for letting us know about your success with Trinamic! I will discuss the possibility to allow its use without camera like a StackShot. Can you send a photo of your setup? I think other readers of this forums would be interested too. Pierre, Your board has different from Trinamic set of...

Re: Output Resolution fixed to 72 dpi
As far as we know, this is a bug with PSD files only. The program correctly saves 300dpi to TIFF or JPEG. Please note that DPI does not affect image quality, it is only information about physical size of the image. This means that 72dpi and 300 dpi image will have exactly the same number of pixels.

Re: FIle qualtiy issue?
Yes, but this is very odd. There should not be any difference in saving PSD or TIFF. I would appreciate if you send us PSD file to explore.
