No, it's about the same speed, 4 seconds between shots. What the remote control apps are doing cannot be done any faster.

No, that is not currently possible. Why do you want that? LZW compression is lossless, so you're getting the exact same file but it's a bit smaller and probably takes a bit less time to be saved.

No, the program cannot be optimized any further without compromising reliability (and even then not much could be done). Yes, automatic updating from Focus 6 to Focus 7 is currently turned off, you need to download 7.0.2 manually, please see if the problem is still present there: https://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads/HeliconFocus.exe

You can leave images in the camera (Helicon Remote preferences -> Saving -> RAW / JPEG download mode -> Leave in the camera), but actually, the image transfer time is negligible, especially for JPEG images. Strange, it woks fine with us. Render stack, open model in Helicon 3D Viewer, then export as OBJ file.

You probably need too disable "Auto crop" option in Autoadjustment settings. Please also note that first image in the stack is used to compile composite, so you may also need to disable stack auto sorting (gear icon under source image list)
