Re: Helicon Remote Mac Beta testing
I suggest you to set "Disable live view during shooting" option in the Preferences\Canon.
As far as I remember, non-Canon flashes do not work if live view is active.

What camera and flash are you using?pfw wrote:Just downloaded the beta. Here is my two cents,
1. Software response seems a bit slow.
2. Flash will go off only when I turn off live view mode and use the "Take Picture" button and won't with "Start Shooting" button.

Re: Barch processing in X64 version
Michael,
We plan to add this functionality into Mac version. We can also make you a refund if you like. Please note that this upgrade also gives you more performance and more functions (retouching, Helicon Remote, 3D Viewer).

Re: Supported Canon Cameras
We are also not happy with AF Calibrator and we will not include this functionality in 2.x version till we find better solution. The algorithm itself is ok but impementation in the camera is very strange. For example, we find that after calling autofocus function from SDK, the camera stars to ingnor...

Re: batch processing
Sorry, no batch options for command line. You will need to use .bat files or something like this.

Re: Connection of a Canon 5D to Helicon Remote
I am glad you are happy with the program. Canon 5D has no live view and no ability to change focus remotely from PC. That is why Helicon Remote does not support this camera.

Re: focusing
Yes, it is evident the focus plane had not moved. As I understand, you are able to move focus from the interface with ">" and "<" buttons, but it does not work when you start shooting. Please send us log file after such a shooting which you will find in Preferences\Tools. Please ...
