Re: Please add support for multilayer tif input
Could you please let us know which system(s) produce such files (what are their names), and share one sample multi-layer TIFF image? You can upload it to our private storage.

Re: Just updated to 4.4.8
Hello,
Please send a bug report after shooting - menu - Help - Report a bug (e. g. after taking a couple shots when it takes so long - doesn't have to be a large number of shots, just so that we can see what's going on).

Re: Get Object Map + Depth Map in helicon focus 8?
If you save the result as a project (menu - File - Save project) and navigate to the project folder there will be a file opacity_map.tiff which could be what you want.

Re: Update to V8.2.2.0 (Windows)
Hello, Yes, it's an oversight, we have not enabled automatic update for version 8.2.2. Will fix it, thanks for pointing it out. Thanks a lot for your kind words. The war is affecting us quite a bit, but much less so than many other Ukrainians, so we can't complain. The development of our products is...

Re: Can you save focus bracketing settings
No, sorry, it's impossible to make such a function work reliably. You can memorize the number of shots/interval and enter them manually, but you have to also set the focal plane to the correct starting position as there is no way to automate that.

Re: .CR3 files
It probably will work after you update the Adobe DNG converter, but it's an old version. So I recommend installing both the latest DNG converter and Helicon Focus.

Re: Apple MacBook m2 pro 2023
Hi, I don't know whether or not 2:36 is the expected performance for you stack. If you can upload it to our private storage we'll check the performance on our systems. But processing raw files requires an order of magnitude more computation so it runs an order of magnitude slower, no surprise there....

Re: Apple MacBook m2 pro 2023
Comparing tiff with DNG is pointless. Convert the source images to linear (debayered) DNG and then time it, then it would be a correct benchmark. And select "DNG loader" instead of raw-in-dng-out as the decoder. A quick way could be to export images as DNG from Lightroom/Capture One. We're...

Automatic updates are no longer possible since macOS 13. Indeed, we should rework it in the user interface as well.

Re: Apple MacBook m2 pro 2023
Hello, Let me reply in order. 1. 14.4 just came out, and Apple very conveniently requires us to make changes to the software with every minor OS release in order for OpenCL to work. We have just updated Helicon Focus for 14.4 - please download and install the new version: https://www.heliconsoft.com...

All older versions of our software are available on demand, but none should be required for your MBP as macOS 11.0+ should be supported by the latest version. What error are you getting?

Re: Using same alignment for several stacks
Thanks for the clarification, turns out there has been a confusion between our developers as to what exactly it is you wanted to do.
We want to look into this and added it to the to-do list, but it won't be soon as our hands are already full working on the next version of Helicon Focus.

Re: The Helicon Focus software is resizing the image from 4000×6000 to 1000×600. What can I do?
Hello,
Do you have the Pro license (or Premium)?
What are you viewing the images with? 1000x600 could be the size of the embedded JPEG preview, not the raw file itself. This happens when the software can't decode DNG files, but is able to extract the preview.
