Re: image size is 'cropped' by Helicon Remote

This is not a software problem, you literally just need to switch from video mode to still photo mode. Video frames are 16:9 and regular photos are 4:3, so they can't have the same size. This is the live view mode switch: https://visadventures.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Nikon_D810_Live_View_Butt...

Re: Canon Wi-Fi Adapter W-E1 compatible with Remote on iPad?

We've seen your bug report sent from the app (thanks for that, much more informative than just the verbal description), and it was unclear what's happening so we didn't reply right away. One thing I've noticed is that you have indeed configured the app to not download images, but it has been downloa...

Not sure what to reply to my own earlier message. Are you experiencing any problems?

Re: Over exposed photos in H Focus

The built-in converter is somewhat and doesn't have as good support for the different modern formats as Adobe DNG has. What do you mean by "Raw in Dng out does not want to run"? I'm not aware of any problems with this converter. Are you getting any error message?

Re: I can't retouch, using HF "lite" !!

You have Helicon Focus Lite license. Helicon Focus Lite license does not support Specialized retouching tools:

You can upgrade your Lite license to Helicon Focus Pro license:

Re: Picture orientation

This is according to the orientation sensor of your camera body, our software has nothing to do with it. If you think your sensor is malfunctioning, you can turn it off in the body menu.

Not an error. It's a "Close" button to finish previewing and go back to live view.

No, Helicon Focus is not able to do this. You will need other software. As far as i know there is software for averaging astronomical images.

Re: Slow to Save

I don't believe it's possible for any computer, no matter how slow, to literately be saving one file for 50 minutes. Something else must be going on. After exporting from LR to Helicon Focus, you are expected to render a stack. Then you must save the result and exit Helicon Focus. Then Lightroom wil...

Re: Over exposed photos in H Focus

Looks like a problem with the raw converter settings. Which converter is selected under "Raw development settings"? If it's something else than "raw-in-DNG-out", try that one.

Re: Canon 77D / PC connection Problem

The sequence you described is very similar to the right thing, but slightly off. Specifically, in the paragraph 6. First, it's best to launch Helicon Remote before connecting the camera. Usually it makes no difference, but when something doesn't work it's the more reliable way. And most importantly,...

Re: Helicon Remote with Rail WeMacro on MAC

This only concerns the second Wemacro revision which uses a different USB interface chip. I don't know if you have the 1st or 2nd revision. There are no changes to be made in Helicon for the first revision - the problem is not on our end. On some Macs it works and on others it doesn't. Try this vers...

Re: Helicon Remote Canon 80D WiFi

It shouldn't be so difficult and there's no reason why it wouldn't work, I'm sure we can resolve this problem. But probably not until your class, unfortunately (because of the time zone difference). First of all, make sure you have the latest version of Helicon Remote installed (check for updates in...

Re: Mirrorless Camera Version

We can't support the current generation Sony cameras due to their remote control limitations. We're not aware of any other mirrorless cameras we could support either, but that could change in the future.
