Re: Helicon Remote with Rail WeMacro on MAC

It could well be that the Wemacro driver you've installed is the reason it doesn't work. Uninstall it and try again. Also, there are now two revisions of Wemacro that use different USB serial interface chips. The original Wemacro units were using CH340 and had problems connecting to some Macs (altho...

Re: 5DsR having lots of problem with v3.9.2

I'm observing some offset being accumulated, but it looks more like a quirk of the lens that a programming error. The weirdest part of your report is that it didn't occur to you on the second attempt, no idea what's up with that. I'll keep looking.

Turn off the auto-return option in the Stackshot control box settings.

Re: Animation Sequence stacked image alignment

Thanks for pointing that out, we'll edit that. I think the English version is better worded, there's no use in describing the implementation details that may change in the future.

John, what kinds of crashes are you encountering, can you give me some details? Also, are you on Mac or Windows?

Re: Animation Sequence stacked image alignment

Stephan is correct, except that the stacking direction is determined by comparing the first and the second images, not the first and the last.
Yes, we're working on it and the release version of Focus 7.0 will respect the direction last selected in the main user interface.

Re: HeliconRemote

Probably a physical connection issue. A loose contact or a faulty cable.
Could also be a conflict with other camera-related software. Make sure no other such software is running when you use Helicon Remote.

Re: shooting in Live View mode

It depends on the camera and the application settings. With Canon cameras, the mirror will stay up by default, but you can force it to go down through changing Preferences -> Shooting -> "Activate live view when taking a shot" to "No". With most Nikon cameras the mirror will go down. Only with D800/...

Re: 5DsR having lots of problem with v3.9.2

Please try this out: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1FOWk8xTpGyeAHSRPpNwW79dHAssvGDFf NOTE: if the live view auto-rotation feature is active (e. g. your camera is in portrait mode), zoom will always jump into a corner of the image. We've just discovered this error today and need more time to fix i...

Re: Using Mirror Lock-Up on Nikon

That is a feature of some Nikon cameras, I can't say which ones. Consult your camera's user manual if you're interested in this.

What operating system are you working on? I could send you the updated version of Helicon Remote to see if the error is still there.

Re: Using Mirror Lock-Up on Nikon

I'm not sure what you're asking about. What delay function?
Mirror lock-up is not supported with Nikon cameras. Make sure it's OFF in the camera body or Helicon Remote will not be able to function at all.

Re: Ton Signal at The end fron stacking

We've had this idea. In fact, it's already implemented on iOS. We'll make this feature available on all platforms in one of the future updates.
