Re: Using Stackshot ...

The intended way is to leave interval at "Auto" and use the DOF calculator. It's odd that it results to zero, there should be sufficient calculation precision to handle small values correctly. Perhaps, something's not set up correctly. Check that circle of confusion (camera's image sensor size) is s...

Re: How can I override the automatic rewind to the home position?

There is currently no way to disable it. Perhaps, we should add a setting for that, I'll put it on our to-do list.

Re: Points A and B are drifting

Do the points drift if you press the large < / > buttons ("Move to A" / "Move to B") a number of times? If yes, this is not a software issue on our part but the lens not being able to carry out movements with sufficient precision. Each lens exhibits this issue to a varying degree, and the same lens ...

Re: Point a and b move when i start shooting

Are you shooting with interval set to "Auto"? Did you calibrate your DOF calculator as described here? https://www.heliconsoft.com/HeliconRemoteHelp/english/HeliconRemote.html#HR_CORECTION_FACTOR What you've described could be because your interval is abnormally large, and that could be due to calcu...

Re: Will more memory help Helicon Focus?

Depends on what your use case is. If you're processing JPEG files, you don't need more unless your images are of enormous resolution. For TIFF files more RAM may help a little bit. The largest improvement will be with raw files, but I can't promise it will be a 2x or even 1.5x improvement. That numb...

Re: How to solve a Blurry edges problem?

This is optical effect and stacking is not able to change this. Blurred foreground masks background behind it. We can only suggest to set smaller aperture to minimize this effect. You are welcome to send us your source images to investigate.

Re: Canon EOS M50 (EOS Kiss M)

I'm not sure why you did that, we never listed M50 is supported, we never listed it as such anywhere. Nor any other Canon mirrorless camera. The previous reply in this topic still stands. Is there any remote control software that works with your new M50? Does Canon EOS Utility or the Canon Connect m...

Re: It runs super slowly!

That's typical for a conflict with some other camera-related software. You'll have to identify and terminate that software. See for a bit more details: https://www.heliconsoft.com/faq-helicon-remote#troubleshooting

Re: Tethered Live View on Android Phone

You can just download the app for free and try. And yes, your assumptions are reasonable as far as I understood them. If you need to interact with the camera body controls (press the shutter release button, change the camera settings), you'll have to turn live view off in the app, but you will still...

Re: D810 Wireless hardware

I see. "Set Active" had no visible effect because the profile was already active, but it does seem that we can't support WR-10 because it simply isn't capable of doing what we need.
