Re: I can't retouch, using HF "lite" !!

You have Helicon Focus Lite license. Helicon Focus Lite license does not support Specialized retouching tools:

You can upgrade your Lite license to Helicon Focus Pro license:

Re: Picture orientation

This is according to the orientation sensor of your camera body, our software has nothing to do with it. If you think your sensor is malfunctioning, you can turn it off in the body menu.

Not an error. It's a "Close" button to finish previewing and go back to live view.

Re: Exposure stacking

No, Helicon Focus is not able to do this. You will need other software. As far as i know there is software for averaging astronomical images.

Re: Slow to Save

I don't believe it's possible for any computer, no matter how slow, to literately be saving one file for 50 minutes. Something else must be going on. After exporting from LR to Helicon Focus, you are expected to render a stack. Then you must save the result and exit Helicon Focus. Then Lightroom wil...

Re: Over exposed photos in H Focus

Looks like a problem with the raw converter settings. Which converter is selected under "Raw development settings"? If it's something else than "raw-in-DNG-out", try that one.

Re: Canon 77D / PC connection Problem

The sequence you described is very similar to the right thing, but slightly off. Specifically, in the paragraph 6. First, it's best to launch Helicon Remote before connecting the camera. Usually it makes no difference, but when something doesn't work it's the more reliable way. And most importantly,...

Re: Helicon Remote with Rail WeMacro on MAC

This only concerns the second Wemacro revision which uses a different USB interface chip. I don't know if you have the 1st or 2nd revision. There are no changes to be made in Helicon for the first revision - the problem is not on our end. On some Macs it works and on others it doesn't. Try this vers...

Re: Helicon Remote Canon 80D WiFi

It shouldn't be so difficult and there's no reason why it wouldn't work, I'm sure we can resolve this problem. But probably not until your class, unfortunately (because of the time zone difference). First of all, make sure you have the latest version of Helicon Remote installed (check for updates in...

Re: Mirrorless Camera Version

We can't support the current generation Sony cameras due to their remote control limitations. We're not aware of any other mirrorless cameras we could support either, but that could change in the future.

Re: Canon 77D and iPhone 6 Connection Problem

1. Make sure no other camera-related apps are running, especially Canon Connect. You may need to uninstall it if you have it (in some cases there's no other way to prevent it from "stealing" control of the camera). 2. Run Helicon Remote. 3. Clear the Wi-Fi settings in the camera body, then re-activa...

Re: Mid-curtain flash option

Can't say much right now, this isn't something we researched. I can say this: Helicon Remote can do anything that the camera allows doing in remote control mode, and can't do anything that the camera doesn't let it. For instance, flash often doesn't work with Canon cameras in live view mode (probabl...

Re: Helicon Remote Canon 80D WiFi

Need more details. At which point of the connection process does the problem occur, as far as you can tell? What doesn't work? Note that you absolutely cannot have Canon Connect running, it will mess everything up. In some cases it had to be uninstalled as it was impossible to prevent it from runnin...
