Re: There's no way this is normal

No, this isn't normal, although somewhat common in occurrence. What's totally not normal is the fact you haven't been able to get rid of this problem quickly.
We've sent a couple more ideas and suggestions to your e-mail (in reply to your bug reports), please try them out.

Re: Canon EOS R

Neither FB Tube nor Helicon Remote supports EOS R. With Helicon Remote, this may change in the future, but we're not sure yet.

Re: Output switching is super slow again

Thanks for reporting this bug. Last time it was caused by Exif library and we believed that we fixed it. Maybe it different but similar problem. Can you send us source stack to reproduce the bug?

Re: Canon and Stackshot

We don't support Wi-Fi control for Stackshot right now, you need a USB cable. We will probably support it in the future.

Re: Ton Signal at The end fron stacking

We didn't get to it yet, but we will. I'll see if we can bump this up the to-do list.

Disable slack compensation in the Stackshot control box settings.

Re: Helicon FB tube

Could you please let us know if there's any other compatible lens available for a test? If so, please try it to check if the other lens behaves the same.
So is it correct that you do not see the 100 mm lens make focus steps?
Do you still continue getting communication error?

I've never heard of such a problem (nor seen it), can you figure out a way for us to reproduce it?

Re: Helicon focus with S9+ and D810

Thanks for the info. Interesting, that prompt (USB transfer mode selection) shouldn't even be displayed when a camera or other USB device is connected, it's only for connecting to a computer. But it's good to know what to do if the prompt does show up.

Re: Shutter Delay

No, unfortunately, it's not possible, there's no such function in the camera body's remote control protocol. Several seconds is pretty much the best you can get, maybe 2.5 seconds after optimizing all the settings, not faster.

Re: Unable to focus

Mobile device is only used to transmit the data about the necessary step size and/or shooting direction to the tube, so iOS version cannot influence the ability of the lens to focus. Indeed, Helicon FB Tube, just as any macro extension tube, does change the properties of the optical system bringing ...

Re: Can I make it sharper

I would suggest to use lent at it sweet spot aperture (f8 -f11) and consider Helicon FB Tube if you like to shoot stacks handheld.
