Re: 3D model from one computer to another one

Please make sure that you use the latest version of Helicon Focus on all of your computers. We had such an incompatibility issue in one of the older versions, but it is fixed long ago, at least we think so.

Re: how to connect usb camera DCM510 to helicon focus or rem

Nikon D80 and D200 has no Live View and cannot be controlled remotely. But both your Canons should work correctly and you can check it right away. Please keep in mind, that you can use stadalone stepper motor with Helicon Remote, no need to disasseble StackShot to use the motor only.

Re: Time-lapse 99 shot limit

This is not a problem. From our experience, the shots can be made with the speed of about one shot in 2-3 secons. The limit will be increased.

Re: Where is the 'AF Calibrator' function?

Philip, Sorry, we removed this feature in the new 2.x version of Helicon Remote. The live view, especially from Nikon, does not provide enough resolution to get consistent results. You are welcome to try AF calibrator in older 1.x version and I would appreciate your feedback. Use this download link f...

Re: StackShot control with Helicon Remote

There is not much sense in Helicon Remote if you are not able to see live view image from your camera. That is why we need connection to the camera. We can control StackShot without the camera, this is no problem. But this gives you no advantage, you can do the same with StackShot control box. Right...

Re: how to connect usb camera DCM510 to helicon focus or rem

There is no way to connect usb camera to Helicon Remote right now. But we are thinking about adding support for it. As you know, Helicon Remote can control external stepper motor which can be coupled with microscope. The hardware (motor+mechanics) costs about $400-$500. I would appreciate if you giv...

Re: Problem

Thanks for the samples. I see that you use Manual exposure mode and the same parameters for all your images, which is good. Still, the images have very different brightness and the program was not able to correct brightness changes. Most probably because white background and object itself change the...

Re: basic question re: focusing rail

Harry, The images will be slightly different anyway, when using focus rail or focusing ring. Helicon Focus by default aligns images, so this is not a problem. I do not have aswer, which technique is better. Focus rails give more control and precision, while focusing ring is easier to use. I think fo...
