Re: Panorama Adjustments

1. There is no way to resize images before Panorma. It was designed for the cases when the camera moves over the surface and takes shots. So the size of objects should be the same. 2. You can contol order of images by manually changing order on the Parameters tab. There is an icon over the list to c...

Re: Evaluation time expire after 3 days!!!

Sorry, Luis, there is no way to reset trial period. At least we will not publish it in the forum :)
We will try to reproduce this bug with trial period and fix it. Please contact us via support@heliconsoft.com and we will issue a temporary license so you can evaluate the program.

Re: Halo prevention and Post-editing

John, There is no online video tutorial yet, but we will prepare it soon. The use of brushes is quite straitforward anyway. I cannot tell you for sure which aperture is the best. F5.6-F8 is condered to be the optimal, giving the best resolution. How it degrades toward F16? I think it depends on the ...

Re: strange lines

Howard, Most probably the lines appear because source images have different brightness. Make sure that Brightness adjustment is enabled in Helicon Focus settings. Note, that Helicon Focus is not always able to properly adjust brightness because the brighness change is not the same for all parts of t...

Re: helicon remote

Tim, Thanks for using our product. We have couple of similar reports so most probably it is a bug in our program. Make sure that lens in autofocus mode, then press ">>" button in Helicon Remote several times. The focus should move, you can notice this on the live view image and on the lens itself. I...

Re: Halo prevention and Post-editing

You are welcome to upload your stack to our server (as described at http://www.heliconsoft.com/ftp.html) so we can analyze it. There are two types of artifacts. First type is cause by the program which was not able to find the best area for the resulting image. We recommend to fix it with retouching...

Re: which Helicon Focus should I buy?

Tim, It depends if you would like to use 64 bit version of the program or not. You can use 32 bit version even on windows 7.0 64 bit, but 64 bit version (Helicon Focus X64) is faster (see http://www.heliconsoft.com/heliconfocus.html) and can handle bigger files. Please note that X64 and Pro versions...

Larry,

Thanks for the log. No news so far. We can't reproduce the bug and can't understand why it can happen. We are now working on internally new version and hopefully the bug will be fixed. Please wait a couple of weeks.

Re: Vorticella at 400x 3D

Tom,

Great image for such a camera! I think the order is not that important. I would experiment with lightening, it may give drammatic effect.
