Re: Canon 5D III with Stackshot problems

Either there's a conflict with some other camera-related software (you need to terminate that software), or the problem is with the camera body settings. Send a bug report while this situation is occurring, and we'll take a look.

Re: unable to connect to Canon EOS Rebel T7i DSLR Camera with 18-135mm Lens

Thanks for submitting the report. This is a difficult case, I can't offer any immediate solution. You've discovered a critical bug in the app that makes the app crash; this issue is of the kind that's the most difficult to figure out; and it never happened during our testing so far. But your report ...

Re: What is the best order for post-processing images?

The current plan is to officially release it in a couple weeks. But until then we will be updating the bet version regularly as we fix various things, feel free to request the beta (the fastest way of doing that is to mail heliconsoft@gmail.com).

Re: image does not stay on screen after capture

Settings -> Interface -> Image Review. But it only goes up to 99 seconds. You're the first person to request permanent review, we could technically implement that.

Re: What is the best order for post-processing images?

You need to install the latest Adobe DNG converter, and you also probably need the new beta version of Helicon Focus. Are you on Windows or Mac?

That's an easy problem to solve, just install the latest Helicon Focus (link sent in a private message).

Re: Canon Wi-Fi Adapter W-E1 compatible with Remote on iPad?

It definitely shouldn't make a difference according to common sense, but strange things do happen in complex systems, and any modern piece of electronics like a DSLR is definitely a complex system. As I mentioned earlier, the memory card is not being detected by the app. If it was detected, the app ...

Re: Canon Wi-Fi Adapter W-E1 compatible with Remote on iPad?

I see. It could be that the W-E1, being a "fake" SD card, confuses Helicon Remote, although that's not supposed to happen. But neither does the timeout error. I'm really not sure how to go on about this, need to be able to reproduce the error on my computer in order to work on it. I'll think about; ...

Re: Helicon install crashing

Open Helicon Focus 7 -> Menu -> Preferences. Press Cmd+Alt+Shift+W, click "Yes" in the prompt. DO NOT restart Focus 7. You can now run Focus 6 successfully. As for your report of an alignment issue, we need more data. Specifically, we need the two stacks (sets of source images) that produce unaligne...

Re: image size is 'cropped' by Helicon Remote

This is not a software problem, you literally just need to switch from video mode to still photo mode. Video frames are 16:9 and regular photos are 4:3, so they can't have the same size. This is the live view mode switch: https://visadventures.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Nikon_D810_Live_View_Butt...

Re: Canon Wi-Fi Adapter W-E1 compatible with Remote on iPad?

We've seen your bug report sent from the app (thanks for that, much more informative than just the verbal description), and it was unclear what's happening so we didn't reply right away. One thing I've noticed is that you have indeed configured the app to not download images, but it has been downloa...

Re: Over exposed photos in H Focus

The built-in converter is somewhat and doesn't have as good support for the different modern formats as Adobe DNG has. What do you mean by "Raw in Dng out does not want to run"? I'm not aware of any problems with this converter. Are you getting any error message?

Re: Picture orientation

This is according to the orientation sensor of your camera body, our software has nothing to do with it. If you think your sensor is malfunctioning, you can turn it off in the body menu.
