Re: Need Help setting up my Camera

Make sure your lens is set to AF, and single-shot autofocus is enabled in the camera body menu (no AI, servo, continuous, or anything else fancy).

Re: Helicon FB tube and calibrated cameras

Well, actually it’s mainly not about the step size, but about the range. When doing focus bracketing it’s better to set the initial point a bit closer than needed and the end point a bit farther, in order to make sure that the entire object is covered. For instance, to autofocus on the initial point...

Re: Canon EOS R

No, and we don't know where or not it will be supported yet. If you already have the camera and are willing to help us support it, we could run a few tests and see what can be done.

Re: Helicon FB tube and calibrated cameras

The tube should not affect the calibration, however, it's always better to set a conservative step between frames for focus bracketing.

Re: Nikon D500

Most likely, there's a problem with OTG support in your Android. Please follow the guide we have specifically written for this very issue, it will help you figure out exactly where the problem is and whether or not it can be solved: https://www.heliconsoft.com/faq-helicon-remote/#camera_not_detected

Re: Nikon D500

That mistake has been corrected over a year ago and was only present on our website for a short time. The information on our website right now is correct: D5600 is fully supported with USB connection, but wireless connection is not supported (it's not listed under Wi-Fi cameras).

Re: Main Menu Not Accesible in iOS 12.0.1 on iPhone

Thanks for the detailed description of the problem. We're already aware of it and will fix the problem in the upcoming update. Try tapping the empty area to the right of the menu button, there's a chance that will display the menu.

Re: Broken DNG

Thanks, we'll look into the NewRawImageDigest problem. Our older [than 2019] Adobe products don't display any errors, as well as other software capable of importing DNGs. Could you post a link to the DNG validator you mentioned? Can't find it. As for the thumbnails in the bottom strip: those are not...
