Re: HeliconFocus.exe - Application Error

Well golly gee whiz --- it worked !!! :-) I reinstalled v 6.2.2 and the same error occurred again when trying to launch it. When I checked its install folder I saw that msvcr100.dll and msvcr80.dll did not exist. Not expecting it to work, I copied the msvcr100.dll and msvcr80.dll versions downloaded...

Re: HeliconFocus.exe - Application Error

Seems something very similar affected Adobe Lightroom:

http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/err ... 0007b.html

Might the same fix work with HF v6?

ie: copy the appropriate msvcr100.dll and msvcr80.dll files to the Helicon Focus install folder?

Re: Save and reuse rendering?

Hi Stas, Thanks for responding. It's too bad there are not more folks in here to offer help. I'll try your suggestions to see how well they work. Something else I just tried with the sample images looks promising : if I use 'File -> Export layers' I can use these to create layer masks in Photoshop t...

Re: Save and reuse rendering?

Hi Stas. Thank you of your help :-) I think you've misunderstood what I'm doing. I AM using Helicon Remote to shoot with, and am not doing HDR. I'm simply moving my main light position and perhaps changing its intensity so that I have 2 stacks of images of the same subject : one (for example) lit fr...

Save and reuse rendering?

I'm relatively new to using Helicon Focus. So far I am VERY impressed by its results using a Nikon D800e with a 105mm f/2.8 G macro lens. Can I save and reuse the rendering of a stack of images? I ask as I'll shoot a set of images ((automated using Helicon Remote / usually 6-8 images) and then repea...
