Re: video recording not working
Unfortunately it's nothing to do with Helicon, I have had the same problem with my D750. It's a camera firmware problem. On Page 172 of the D5300 manual - Terminating the Connection Wi-Fi can be disabled by: • Starting movie recording "can" should be changed to "unfortunately will be&...

I have already posted this :This man demonstrates it working for QDSLRDashboard. He says it works with version 2.01 as well as the 1.3 demonstrated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFum1ogPW-s "Connecting the D850 to a Mac using Snapbridge on an iPhone using Snapbridge as interim connector Once...

Re: Will Helicon Remote ever support Sony A7 cameras?
Yes Olivier I understand Sony macro users are fitting adapters like the Fotodiox EF adapter and using the FB Tube with Canon lenses on a Sony body, so that is a possible work-round for Sony users unless you had something else in mind?

WiFi Connection with Nikon D850
Hi Stas, I don't know whether you are familiar with this video and information on a work-round for connecting to the D850 via WiFi - maybe it is relevant to Helicon Remote, maybe not?

Re: Does HR Support Continuous Shooting?
After many attempts with my new FB Tube and my Android phone & Tablet, I got no communication (flashing green led). Then I tried my wife's iphone & that worked well. Then I went back to the Androids and they all worked too! Why is this? maybe we will never know.

FB Tube
Hi Stas, I have ordered the Nikon FB Tube & look forward to it. One thing I do not understand from the website - if I start at the near point, how to establish beforehand now many shots to take to reach the far point? Also are the step values the same as in Remote? That would be very useful. Wil...

FB Tube
Hi Stas, I cannot find a forum for your FB Tube so I post here. From what I read the tube is not yet available for Nikon (November?) Also from what I read the tube will allow me to to shoot continuous at 6fps with the Nikon D750? So for example I could do a 24 stack in 4 seconds? Also what is the ex...

Re: Not focusing between A & B.
I often use the Tamron 90mm (USD Di version) and have found that the default CF is perfectly ok! I have Nikon FX cameras though but I don't know if that makes a difference.

Snapbridge
Hi Stas, do you see problems ahead for HR as Nikon moves over to Snapbridge and probably/possibly ditches open Wi-Fi? I see many users are starting to express serious concerns.

Re: Image Exposure View
Yes the D610 with the WU-1b adapter will record video via Wi-Fi controlled by Helicon Remote.
Which is why it is so frustrating that this feature is disabled in the newer D750.

Re: Image Exposure View
Stas - Yes thank you, that is the problem. In a way it would be useful if all these oddities that users find with individual cameras could go on a database. So now we have a Nikon D610 which can record video via wi-fi but has no exposure simulation - and the D750 is the exact opposite!

Image Exposure View
Hi Stas, When using my Nikon D750 the image in the Remote main window is identical to "Preview" or "take picture". If I change any setting like ISO the image changes to reflect this. When I then try this with the D610 this does not happen. The image in the main window does not al...

Re: video recording with D750
No Stas it's nothing to do with Helicon, I have at last found on Page 288 of the D750 manual - "Wi-Fi can be disabled by ...... starting movie recording." I think "can" should be changed to "unfortunately will be"! I have used a Meike grip and its remote control success...
