Dragging image in retouch mode

Dan Kozub wrote:Sorry, no. But you can use arrow keys to pan image.
Hello, with version 4.1, this seems possible while holding down the Option + Command keys.

It's confusing because it's so simple.

However, I agree. To this purpose I wrote a small explanation.
Read it. Ooops, sorry, it's in French only.

Hi, Tom,

IMHO, postprocessing is not only OK, it's a necessity.
It is the modern equivalent of old days darkroom work. Much more pleasant, though.

Great image, thanks!

Have you already tried retouching functions of the Helicon Focus 4.0 Pro?
Any comments?

Danylo
No Dan, because I'm on Mac OS.
But I understand that a Mac version is to come out, soon ?

Chrysopa eggs

Hi, This one I like. Built with a stack of 31 pictures, followed by quite a bit of retouching in PS. The retouching involved : 1. Smoothing the grey background 2. Copy-pasting the individual eggs images, to achieve a better quality than with Helicon. Each egg (without the stem) is 0.6 mm long http:/...

Hi,

All you have to do is set Photoshop as your image editor.

This is how :

Run helicon focus.
Open "Preferences"
Click the "Choose" button for the Image editor.
Navigate to its location and confirm.

That's all there is to it.

Enjoy.

Dan,

Read my text : "size 12 mm".
That's not very big.
Camera : Canon EOS 20D, Canon macro lens 100mm.
Stopped down to f/5.6 for better crispness.

Camptopus lateralis

A rather common bug, not very visible until it takes to the air, flashing its bright orange abdomen.

Size : 12 mm
Sorry if the image is too large - it was to show what Helicon focus is capable of.

Anthophora plumipes

I'm new to helicon focus (Mac OS X).
Excellent results sometimes, and problems in other occasions that I'm trying to solve by myself (the documentatioin is unforunately minimal).
Annexed is one of my good attempts.

Dimitri
