Re: Failed to load project file

Deleting the source files to re-export them later to plug into the same project will work if you can guarantee that the images will be exactly the same as they were the first time. The memory cache limit is the fraction of your system's total RAM capacity that Helicon Focus is allowed to use for spe...

Re: Help - D500 using iPAD and USB not working

USB connection is not possible on iOS because of Apple's policies, and that's why you won't find D500 in the list of supported cameras. However, now Nikon has released the new firmware with which you no longer need Snapbridge in order to access Wi-Fi. I don't yet know whether or not you can already ...

Re: Problem with OpenCL

Can you try enabling "Fail safe mode" in the Helicon Focus preferences -> Performance, does it make any difference?
Could you please contact us at heliconsoft@gmail.com and send a set of files we can use to try reproducing the error?

Re: Output file size

Yes, the output will retain the detail of the original, the output image resolution is the same as the input resolution (42 megapixels in your example) minus a couple pixels cropped out during the alignment phase (pixels along the edge that contain objects visible only on some images and not others,...

Re: Failed to load project file

Yes, I think you should export your images from Lightroom as files and then load them into Helicon Focus. You just can't combine LR export workflow with project files because of the way LR works, there's nothing we can do on our end. I can understand why you find DNG / RAW processing slow, processin...

Re: HF fails but Photoshop CC succeeds: alignment issue?

Thank you for sending over the stack. Please try experimenting with rotation compensation in Preferences\Autoadjustments (https://www.heliconsoft.com/focus/help/english/HeliconFocus.html#HF_ADJ)
Increasing Rotate value does help achieving a better result in this case.

Sorry for leaving your question without a reply for too long.
We suppose it will be supported. We aim to support gpus from ~2015. But unfortunately, we can't test it so far.
