Thanks for responding Stas... But when I rename the file, for example image.mdc to image.raw or to image.tiff, it becomes image.raw.mdc respectively image.tiff.mdc in the properties window... and HF still can't open the file. How do I go about renaming the file so that it eliminates the .mdc extensi...

Minolta 175 MDC images

I was really pleased to see on your website that HF includes dcraw that would allow me to open my old Minolta 175 mdc format images...

But, when I tried to open them, they are not shown as a supported format. How do I open these images?

Via Photoshop, I've automated a few image corrections to all the images in any given stack (File-> Automate-> Batch). This saves me lots of time and ensures that the images to stack remain constant. I guess other users do the same thing. So, I'd like to suggest that you add - either to Preferences a...

Hi Stas,

Do you know of a website with an explanation of how to "shoot the images" that will be stacked into the 3D video? Or do you have a basic set of instructions of your own that you could share?

I mean, how and how much does one move the camera between shots?
