Re: Problem with OpenCL

Just tested with provided beta version 7.6.0.
FS mode off - OCL on.
problem seems to appear not as often as in 7.5.x but it did...
running the same manual stack again without any changes works fine!

Re: Problem with OpenCL

so today I finally did a test with "Fail safe mode" on and off. And it seems to make a difference. CL on / FS off -> initial run produces damaged image (rerunning same stack is fine) reproducible ( upper part (varying) from ~10 to 50% is damaged) CL on / FS on -> works ( at least on the 2 ...

Re: Problem with OpenCL

In the meantime damaged images are occurring both in manual and batch runs equally distributed.
Not every image is damaged but now and then ( ~3 out of 10) - but only with OCL!

Any idea how to fix that ?

Problem with OpenCL

Hi, I am using HF 7.5.4 with OpenCL on a Radeon 590. Now reproducible during batch processing (F7) the first 1 or two images/stacks are damaged. If I run stack interactively everything is fine, if I disable OpenCL everything is fine. The visual problem is always the same ( see attachment for same st...

Re: Differences in Result of Batchmode vs Interactive

The question is more related to the internal handling. Of course I could disable autocrop in interactive mode to get identical results but cropping itself is quite nice.. as the result of autocropped and manually cropped images is not identical later stitching is not easily possible. There is some z...

Batch Processing annoyances

Hi, my standard process is always like taking tons of pictures during the day and processing images over night so the batch processing is of great help, but there are a couple of issues: 1) Stackdefinition when selecting thousands of pictures with lot of stacks: 1.1 why do I have to wait for exif in...

Differences in Result of Batchmode vs Interactive

Hi, at the moment I am dealing with a strange situation - the result of the batchrun seems to miss a final step which seems to be happening in interactive mode. Some pictures of deep stacks from ~300 RAW input files have sort of unusable/stackable border, which is automatically removed in interactiv...

Problem with Stackprocessing

I have complete reproducible problems with stackprocessing. I have a 32 GB Windows 10 machine with an extra SSD for TEMP storage ( where Helicon Cache is also located ) with ~200GB free disk space. My initial folder contains 200 - 300 files which will be broken down to 4 - 6 stacks ( 50 images each)...
