Re: Auto-Focus not working - Nikon D3X/Samsung Tab S

Stas,

OK, looks like Google did not push 3.9.1 down to me. I was using 3.9.0.

I forced it and it now seems to work.

Thanks.

Re: Defining save folder (android)

Stas,

The closing ] was replaced by another char, IIRC it was a question mark (?).

Simplest solution is to check all chars are valid and properly enclosed by [...]. (AKA "range check"). This would cover misspelling as well as missing delimiters.

Re: Defining save folder (android)

Stas, problem solved.

The issue was not the path name... it was a bad file name definition in the settings.

The error msg is inadequate, it should state what the problem is, not "check enough storage avail, permissions etc." (paraphrased)..

["Stas Yatsenko"] > The only folder it can save to is "Android/data/com.HeliconSoft.HeliconRemote2/". If you create that folder and point Remote to it, it WILL write there. But nowhere else on the external SD card. I accidentally deleted this folder. It has been working fine for...

I just tried this: If "Downsample" is selected it fails on the second image with "Internal Render Error:5" (Occurs with all modes) Can downsampling be used? If not, maybe the options should be be greyed out. With a full size dng, the file is not recognized by DXO Optics (pro ver ...

File Naming - File Counter

There does not seem to be a way to set the "File counter" parameter to a specific start value (to continue a series), other than to reset to zero. I may use a tablet, laptop or workstation depending on where I am shooting. It would save a renaming step if I could set each to the next start...
