Re: Wish list for Helicon Filter v.5

I wish that Helicon Filter provided at least 3 times as many control points on the Brightness Management curve and equalizer. I often have 16 bit TIFF micrographs of white microgastropods that have dynamic ranges of 1/4 or less of the entire brightness spectrum. Essentially a middle-gray image with ...

Re: Is a full screen view of renderings no longer available?

Copy from source brush is not a retouching in its usual meaning. You create nothing new, you just fix artefacts created by the program. So you should not feel guilty about it :) Stas, sorry about the delay in responding. I lost internet for about 24 h. I agree with you...in principal. But from what...

Stas, "What you can do right now is to switch to Render tab, and press Use another output as source button under source list. In this case you will have one result in one panel and another result in second panel.[/quote]" Thank you for the idea. I understand this idea...in principal. Unfor...

Re: Setting White balance under LED lighting

Stas, Thank you. I like your suggestion and will try that today. I had stumbled onto a different method, which is to use the "enque" function on a folder containing only the white reference photo and the Helicon Focus rendered photo.

Is a full screen view of renderings no longer available?

I just upgraded from Helicon Focus lite 4.4 to 6.2.2. I cannot find a way to view a nearly full screen image of a just rendered stack. 6.2.2 seems to only allow only split screen views with one panel showing a mostly-out-of-focus source image. Seeing a source image is not useful for me when I am try...

Setting White balance under LED lighting

Is there a means of setting the white balance in Helicon Filter using an index photo of a white-card? It is routine for me is to shoot stacks of images under a variety of LED sources, and I always shoot one reference white-card shot for every stack of images. I then run the RAW files through Olympus...
