Re: Batch Processing annoyances

Hi Jim,

Those are all good suggestions, we will discuss and address them individually.
#2 has been addressed in Helicon Focus 7, are you using the latest version 7.0.2? It should no longer use all the available hard drive space and fail.
#3 is on our to-do list already.

Re: using helicon remote without otg/usb cable

Could be, but more likely - a conflict with another camera-related software. Send us an error report right after a problem occurs, we'll take a look (menu -> Help -> Report a bug).

Re: N

I'm sorry, the message already tells you our best guess, this is a very rare problem and we don't have any new information about it. It's a pity neither your camera model nor your Helicon Remote version can be seen on the screenshot. If it's not 3.9.7 (the latest version), try that: https://www.heli...

Re: D750 Video Flickering

Scrolling dark lines is probably a stroboscopic effect from flickering light, very unlikely a problem on our end. As for the other issues, please reproduce the problem and send a bug report, we can't do anything without seeing the details.

Re: Impossible to stack a watch picture

Yes, original files would help to understand the problem but most probably the only way to minimize this artifact is to set smaller aperture. This is optical effect, blurred edge on the foreground masks details on the background. The program just does not have enough information.

There's no direct way, but you can always take the image files and do whatever you want with them.

Re: smoothing level in method C

Smoothing defines how these sharp areas will be combined. Low smoothing produces a sharper image, but the transition areas may have some artifacts. High smoothing will result in a slightly blurry image, though without any visible transition areas: https://www.heliconsoft.com/focus/help/english/Helic...

Re: Capture One v12 plug-in

For the moment, there is limited documentation. Please note that the plugin is developed by Phase One and has only been released last week, we don't have any of our own documentation yet. https://help.phaseone.com/en/CO12/Output/Plugins.aspx https://help.phaseone.com/en/CO12/Organizing-Photos/Sequen...

Re: switching Helicon to new computer

You can use the software on 4 computers you are working on, but only one copy of the program can be used at the same time. You can use the same license for Mac and Windows computers in any proportion. Please download and install the latest release of Helicon Focus: http://www.heliconsoft.com/softwar...

Re: helicon remote with wemacro rail.

So the problem is that Wemacro rails only performs very large movements, longer than you need? If that's the case, go to Helicon Remote preferences -> Wemacro and reduce the "Size of focusing steps". That's the size of one step, which is the steps performed by the < / > buttons.

I am glad it solved the problem, keep us informed if it appears again. Theoretically, two version should interfere with each other.

Re: Output switching is super slow again

We can't reproduce this bug, so you will need to make more tests yourseft. I would suggest to do the following: 1. Uninstall Helicon Focus. Delete "c:\Program Files\Helicon Software" and install it again. 2. Make sure that your CPU does not overheat. Use CPU-Z or similar utility to monitor its tempe...

Re: Cable connections Camera and Stackshot

We don't currently support Wi-Fi connection with Stackshot. In order to get full functionality, you need to connect the camera to your computer and Stackshot to your computer at the same time, DON'T connect the camera to Stackshot directly. Now, any kind of connection, either wireless or USB, will w...
