Re: Please check that the images are shot in consecutive order w

I don't see how we can do anything about this, or how it's an error on our end. Helicon Focus relies on image names being ordered by focal plane position, and your stack breaks the ordering when the counter overflows from 9999 to 0000. Were the shots obtained with Helicon Remote? You could call this...

Re: Disconnect the wrong way

That's odd, I've never seen this happening on any of our devices, and I don't think the problem is on our end. Something's wrong with how your Android handles USB communication. And I don't think there's any way for us to mitigate this behavior of your particular system because there is no event pri...

Re: Mirror-up with Nikon d7200 and WeMacro focusing rail

No, it's not possible with D7200. It's a firmware issue that Nikon only fixed in D800 and other new models of the top line like D810/D850/D4/D5.

Re: USB-RS232

I don't know, serial converter chips are very cheap. We also used a cheap one from China for about $3 and it worked. I still think it could be a setup/configuration issue.

Re: Time Lapse Photography!!

Thanks for the suggestion. This feature has been in the program since the beginning. "Time lapse" button on the toolbar on Windows/Mac; Tools -> Time lapse on Android/iOS.

Re: Trinamic board not recognised ...

Does TMCL-IDE actually work with the stepper? If not, could be a problem with the driver or with wiring or with the converter itself. If it does work, then make sure to close it before using Remote as COM doesn't support multiple clients. If still doesn't work, probably a driver/configuration issue....

Re: USB-RS232

No, it won't detect just the converter. Or, rather, it will detect it internally but not show in the user interface if it can't communicate with the end device and establish that is indeed one of the supported devices.

Re: Nikon Z7 and D800

Z7 NEF files are supported by Helicon Focus.
Helicon Remote does not support Z7.

A USB connection is more stable than Wi-Fi. A Windows version should work no better or worse than an Android app, but is overall more convenient to use (larger screen and all).

No plans for Fuji camera right now, we're busy supporting another line of cameras right, but we may look into it in the future.

Sure, no problem. Helicon Focus doesn't care where the images come from.

Re: Canon EOS R

Adobe DNG converter 11 supports EOS R, so install the latest converter from Adobe's website and you can drop CR3 images directly into Helicon Focus. As for Helicon Remote - no news yet, sorry.
