files support

Hi Dan, I am also having issues with Phase One file size tiff's. They are not Raw. They are already processed. So perhaps it is a size issue as you mention. I have been resorting to JPEG's. if you could send me the beta update also please.

thank you

No, but it sounds like the stamp tool or heal tool in PS, which can be a painfully slower method than simply drawing around the figure or subject or perhaps subjects you want to align, somewhat like KnockOut selection. It would also make it less redundant of a tool from the one in PS. Sorry it does ...

More important than this is have a tool to draw around the one layer or if need be all the layers to define the area that you want in focus, so it ignores the surrounding info in calc. :-)

with everything moving towards 64bit for the ram problem you mention, do you think in the near future you will make a 64bit ?

(As I custom piece my new 64bit system)

I also often errors in finding the source file. It maybe timing out due to size of 120MB and misreporting, as after a second or third try to read the file in the selected folder, it does display. I will try another fresh test and see and upload for you to see for yourself. Does HF plan to support Ph...

First try

I just tried stacking 2 images and it looks like it is ignoring the 1 image. I have a photo with top rear in focus, and another bottom front in focus to merge the 2. But even when I reverse the order, it ignores what is below the first. I wish you could select an area for the program to ignore dust ...

I think for the 35mm format user Okie, it would be easier for the software to align if you just use the focus ring. I on the other hand, I am using a medium format RZ, so the back film plane is mounted on a tripod. I think I have to use my focus rail so I can slide the camera back and forth to focus...

I am thinking these are dead ? Do you think the eye color or something would be a slightly different color if it was captured alive?! (For some reason I think the eyes or skin would have a green tint, or is that something else I am thinking of?

How would this work with a camera such as the mamiya RZ ? The lens doesnt focus, the bellows does the focusing. What would you suggest to a fresh HF rookie to do using this setup?

thank you!

I agree, I like that second one, but the first does show how the magnification performs. Umm what are we looking at...and like he asked, what rail setup are you using?
