RAW file conversion abort option
Sometimes I use the RAW + Fine Large setting in remote which results in a string of alternating RAW (cr) and jpeg images. The problem is I often click on a cr file accidentally then have to sit there with my thumb up my tuchas waiting for the conversion to wrap. :x An "Abort" option would ...

60D support: exp. times
I noticed a recent post for a request for exposure times beyond :30 but the answer was that only live view cameras were supported - I have live view but my maximum exposure time is also only :30 when using my Canon 60D. Can the exp. time be lengthened for my camera? Thanks.

Re: Default Quality Settings
There's no concept default quality setting. Image quality can only change to small JPEG in two cases: if you don't have a valid license (in which case a message is displayed so you can hardly miss it), or when shooting preview for the duration of this one shot. I. e. the original quality is restore...

Default Quality Settings
I opened Remote and started shooting with my previous settings, 1 sec exposure with the aperture at 16 - unchanged from my last session. After a day and a half I started to work with the shots I had taken in Filter and noticed the size of the pics - I had been loading groups to the que with noise an...

Re: Stackshot Macro Rail
...It is impossible to obtain meaningful result for rails at the moment, and is very hard in principle. Is that conclusion limited to my specific example of a manual focus lens and rail with Focus software or does it apply for any use of a rail with the Focus software, including with auto focus len...

Tutorial misinforms viewers re: Remote download
FYI: As of now, the tutorial, "Quick Start with Helicon Remote: Automated Focus (DoF) Bracketing, Exposure Bracketing and Time-lapse", http://www.youtube.com/embed/3LDSGWPNe3o, in the closing credits to that video, still misinforms viewers that Focus and Remote will be delivered to users a...

Re: Stackshot Macro Rail
So with a Canon MP-E 65, I can manually focus the first shot, then Remote will work with the rail to set up the shots? If so, even though the MP-E 65 is an all manual lens, will Remote be able to determine depth of field, and other parameters needed? Thanks.

Studio work using a 60D/MP-E 65/Remote/Focus/StackShot rail
Hi-brand new. I want to photograph marbles (yes, little glass spheres) using Focus and Remote with my 60D and MP-E 65 mounted on a Stackshot rail mounted on a copy stand. :D Why? Because I have a LOT of marbles to shoot and I want to easily replicate shooting setups for various size marbles of simil...
