I realize this is an old topic, but I've figured out how to solve this in Lightroom. I had a series of images illuminated by daylight where not only did the brightness change (as the sun went near edges of clouds) but also the colour temperature. I also found out that I can use the 3D editing features of Photoshop together with Helicon's depth map export to allow editing of the depth map and rendering of the completed model in Photoshop.

Touchup of depth map?
Hi there, My final image merge looks perfect! However, generating a 3D animation from it doesn't work very well because Helicon has pretty much just picked random depths for the out of focus areas (so as the image tilts you can see that the out of focus areas are randomly really close to the camera)...
