Re: Canon EOS 1100D and HR
Please reproduce the problem and send us a bug report (Helicon Remote menu \ Help \ Report a bug) with a short comment ("doesn't enter live view" will suffice). I've found that it wouldn't enter LV because I had the camera set to "auto" (green rectangle on the mode dial). Switch...

Re: Canon EOS 1100D and HR
We're actually not sure if we have defeated this problem completely or just made it happen less often. Please try the new version: http://downloads.heliconfilter.com/HeliconRemote_250_22_06_2012.zip (unpack it to your Helicon Focus folder) I'm afraid that version is even worse :( It doesn't enter L...

Re: Canon EOS 1100D and HR
Any progress with this problem? I downloaded the 22 May version, but it still doesn't work! I really would like to use HR/HFStas Yatsenko wrote:Yep, we do not have this camera for tests. I will ask Alex to prepare a test version for you to pinpoint the bug.

I did that a couple of weeks ago! Alex has being trying to fix it, but no luck so far. I guess he doesn't have an 1100D that he can test with?

Canon EOS 1100D and HR
Is anybody using either of the two latest versions of HR (2.4.4.W and 2.4.0.W) successfully with an EOS 1100D? Neither version will enter LiveView mode for me.
The older ("unsupported") version (2.3.12.W) works fine. The Canon EOS Utility works fine.

Text/scale tab not recognising that changes have been saved
I use HR to take a stack of image and then press the HF button to transfer them across to HF. Then I stack them in HF. All OK so far, excellent results. I then use the Text/Scale tab in HF to add some text to my image. Then I save it using the Save button on the tool bar. Still OK. Then I take anoth...

Re: Which version of HF do I have?
Trial version is equivalent in functionality to X64 license. You can disable 64 bit server to compare performance. Normally, X64 license is needed if you plan to process images above 50 Mpixels. Stas - Is that a single image of 50 MPix or a combined total of 50 MPix? The "use 64/32 bit process...

Re: "Manual" control of stepping with an EOS 1100D
Please make sure that points A and B are not defined when you are using manual mode. When A and B are defined, the program knows distance and autocalculates third variable of the equation Distance = (NSteps-1)*StepSize Ah, right, with you now, obvious when it's pointed out. Small points: please mak...

"Manual" control of stepping with an EOS 1100D
I'm evaluating HR for use in macro mode with an 1100D. All works when well when I use the camera's "big" steps - typically I need no more than thirty focus steps to go from front to back of my target (minerals and rocks). When I switch to the camera's small steps things get a bit silly! I'...

Which version of HF do I have?
I downloaded the Helicon trial version a month or so ago and am considering buying it (once I've tested it with a microscope I hope to have soon), but which version do I have, or indeed need? Certainly I have (and need) the Pro version as I'm (happily) using the Remote portion. Do I have, and do I n...

Extension to 30-day trial period
I downloaded HF about 28 days ago, expecting to have both camera and microscope "soon". Unfortunately this didn't happen :( I got a camera (EOS 1100d) a couple of days ago but will not have a microscope until next week, by which time the HF trial period will have expired. Would it be possi...
