Continuing my confusion, I just tried three files with limited EXIF data on another iMac but running 10.9.1 and it worked a treat.

I just processed a set of files from my Olympus EM-1. HF worked perfectly. I'm wondering why and it occurred to me that the D800E shots that make HF fail are with adapted lenses so there would be limited EXIF data,

Thanks, any idea when you will have a fix. I'm just starting on a project where I will be needing HF regularly.

I just downloaded the Beta, ran a set of files, stopped, and then tried another set and the crash is back. It looks like I can get one set done but it then crashes.

I just started using HF after a few months. I loaded some files and it crashed. I then upgraded from 4.2.8 to 4.2.9. I ran one set of files through HF successfully. I then tried again with some other files and I'm back to crashing. I am running 10.8.5. I have uninstalled HF and reinstalled but it ju...

What I meant was that I want to use HF for my near/far shots and then another underexposed shot for the sky. I solved my own problem by putting the shot that is the same as the sky shot at the top of the HF stack. Thanks.
