I wasn't even shooting for focus stack

This is I think worth posting to show the power of HF. I didn't even know of the software when I took two handheld shots of this flower on a remote Irish headland. I just took one for the stamens and one for the petals. The result took little fine tuning and has the character of a shot taken at some unimaginably small aperture - ie it still has "natural looking" areas of going out of focus plus the depth to get all the main parts sharp.
