This is a program for enhancing digital images. Folders and files panel is on the left; File information and Presets panels are on the right. On the taskbar you can see the buttons for switching between filters: Resize, Brightness, Colors, etc.
To start processing select an image on the Folders and files panel and switch to any of the filters; then choose a preset or switch to the expert mode and enjoy the variety of tools for image processing.

Every filter provides a set of tools for solving one or few similar tasks. For example, Resize filter provides tools for cropping and resizing and Brightness filter for changing brightness.
After you switch to one of the filters you can use tools specific for this filter on the Presets and Parameters panels. The Presets panel gives quick acces to most common processing tasks. You can use the default presets or you can create your own ones. Read more about presets here. The Parameters panel provides access to the full set of instruments.
Apply button applies the current filter and switches the program to the default mode when no filter is selected.
Cancel button switches to the default mode when no filter is selected without applying the current filter.
Reset settings button resets settings of the current filter to default.
The Folders and files panel consists of the file tree where you see the folder structure of your hard disk and the file browser where you can view thumbnails of images in a selected folder.
/
You can lock or unlock the panel. If it is unlocked it disappears as soon as you move the cursor away from it and appears when the cursor is close to the left edge of the screen.
You can minimize and restore the whole panel.
You can also hide and restore the file tree.
File information panel shows image histogram, image information, and EXIF information. The histogram and metadata describe the original image and not the resulting one.
On the histogram the horizontal axis presents the range in which the brightness of pixels can vary (from 0 to 255). This is the dynamic range of a digital image. The vertical axis presents the number of pixels with the given brigtness. Dark pixels are on the left side of the histogram and the bright pixels are on the right side.

| Dark image - there is a "hill" in the left part and the rest is fairly flat | Bright image - there are "hills" in the right part and the left part is flat | This image is quite balanced because it has pixels belonging to the whole dynamic range |
The Presets panel gives quick access to presets. If no filter is activated, on the Presets panel there are presets for several filters. If you have switched to one of the filters, there are presets for one selected filter. Read more about the presets here.

The File browser shows the thumbnails of images a selected folder.
You can perform the following operations in the File browser by right clicking the image: Select all command marks all images in the folder. "Marking" means ticking the checkbox below the image. Unselect all command clears all marks, none of images becomes selected. Invert selected command changes a state of the selection to the opposite (selected to unselected, unselected to selected). Command Add to the queue adds marked images to the queue with the current set of filters earlier applied to the current image. Rename selected command lets you rename one or a group of files using a template. For example, you can rename all your files this way: "2005.06.25 The Beach", so that your files are always shown sorted by date. More about renaming >>. Copy selected command copies the marked files to the selected folder. Move selected command moves the marked files to the selected folder. Delete selected command moves the marked files to the trash-bin. Rotate commands rotate the image and save it with the original date and time. The operation is lossless so JPEG quality does not deteriorates. RAW files cannot be rotated by this function. Auto rotate command analyzes EXIF orientation flag and rotates the image accordingly. The orientation flag is reset afterwards. Click Exit to close the menu. |
On the History panel you can see the list of filters which you have applied to an image. You can enable, disable, edit, and delete any filter. You can enable/disable filters by switching on/off the checkboxes in front of the filter names.
The filters are listed in the same sequence as they were applied. You can enable and disable filters to preview what the image would be like with or without this or that filter. In order to call the local menu just click on any filter.

Original image link lets you open the original image and Resulting image link opens the resulting one.
Save works like "quick save" because it saves the resulting image automatically without showing the saving dialogue. The resulting image will be saved in the same folder and with the same name as the original one. The original image will be moved to subfolder named "Originals" which will be created automatically in the folder where the original image resided before saving.
Publish to web allows you to publish and share images very quickly. The resulting image will be downsized automaticaly and uploaded to the server owned by Helicon Soft in few seconds. You will get a link like http://mob.heliconphotosoft.com/92130384.html which you can copy to clipboard and share with your friends.
The published images are not crawlable by search engines and will never appear in search engine results. Only those to whom you give the exact link will see the image.
Images are stored on the server not less than a month and then deleted.
